Everything you need to know about who’s running, in one place
Fund the guide so we can reach more voters
We’re providing Rhode Island’s first comprehensive local and state legislative nonpartisan voter guide.
Click through to find biographies, issue stances, endorsements and campaign websites for statewide races, 113 state legislative races and school committee and city council races across all 39 towns and cities.
Rhode Island's elections are decided by very few people. Only about 12 out of 100 voters show up for the state primary, yet the primary election settles roughly 9 out of 10 offices well ahead of the general election.
People most likely to stay home are under age 30 and have no party affiliation
Unaffiliated voters are now the largest group in the state - making up over half of the electorate
Over 70% of legislative races see no genuine contest, so incumbents rarely have to earn new support.

Why we partnered with Fuse Washington
RIsing Alliance partnered with Fuse Washington to build the Lil Rhody Voter Guide because Rhode Island voters deserve the same tools that voters in other states already have but that we don’t have in-house capacity to provide (yet!).
Fuse Washington has run progressive voter guides since 2012 and currently works in over a dozen states. They bring the research, technology, project management, and ad expertise. We bring the local knowledge of Rhode Island candidates, issues, and communities.
